There’s something to be said for getting back to basics.
The Luddite is nothing but a low tech, bare bones mountain bike – no gears, no nonsense, no damn cushy living-room sofa falling down the hillside, soaking up every pea-sized bump. Just the nimble handling and climbing prowess of a good ol’ fashioned rigid, steel 29er.
Spec’d with a suspension-corrected, full-carbon tapered fork, our Chubby head tube, and sliding disc dropouts, the Luddite is as versatile as it is fun. The sliding drops have a derailleur hanger and the frame has braze-ons to easily get cables to derailleurs if you decide single-speeding ain’t your bag. But, we’re pretty sure it will be.
